Description
Jewish man Georg escapes imprisonment by present-day Nazis and flees to Paris and then Marseille. In a desperate move to get out of the country, he assumes the identity of an author named Weidel, who recently committed suicide and has a Mexican visa. His plans are complicated when he meets Weidel’s estranged wife, Marie. As Georg falls in love with Marie, he tries to find a way to take her with him without revealing his deceit.
