Description

Description

A young teacher receives recommendations from the director of a popular school and listens to what her colleagues say about her future pupils, men of all ages who can neither read nor write and who think only of fighting. One of his students, a young thug, falls in love and lets him know it through an assignment on which he wrote “Madam, I love you. Allow me to kiss you”.

The thug continues to harass her, although the damsel has rejected his advances. After experiencing several misadventures, the teacher is defended by some of the oldest students in the class. A general fight ensues, blows rain down and the thug is stabbed. He is transported to the village, his relatives and a priest are at his bedside. The teacher is called, runs up to the dying man and kisses him. The priest holds out a crucifix which the thug kisses before dying.
