An icon of early 20th-century cinema, silent film legend Charlie Chaplin is the subject of this expansive documentary. Featuring narration by Sydney Pollack, the production takes a chronological look at Chaplin’s life and work, notably moving from his earliest screen appearances, to the creation of his famous Little Tramp character, to his beloved feature films of the 1920s and ’30s.
