Description
While vacationing in Yalta, Anna Sergeyevna, a young, upper-class wife, attracts the attention of Dmitriy Dmitrich Gurov, an older man who is an incredibly successful and wealthy banker. Away from home and their respective spouses and families, they engage in a passionate affair, but when Sergeyevna is called home by her husband, and Gurov returns to Moscow, he’s forced to reevaluate his privileged but ultimately unsatisfying life.
