Description
Eka, a strong-willed elderly woman whose health is failing, shares a tiny apartment in Tbilisi with her daughter Marina and her granddaughter Ada. The light of Eka’s life is her son, Otar, who has fled Tbilisi and lives in Paris. Otar writes frequently and sends money as often as he can. When Ada and Marina find out that Otar has died, they begin writing letters to Eka to maintain the illusion that he’s alive.
