When Dr Nam collapses suddenly, his dying wish is for his daughter Jeong-hui to marry the artist Kim Dong-su. His young assistant, Sun-cheol, must keep his feelings for Jeong-hui a secret – but as they try to pay off Dr Nam’s extensive debts, the two young people find it difficult to stay apart.
