Description
The film is about the French film industry from 1942 to 1944 during the Nazi occupation. The film focuses on assistant director Jean Devaivre, who works for the German production company Continental Films and is secretly engaged in the underground resistance movement, and womanizing screenwriter Jean Aurenche who does everything he can to avoid writing collaborationist material.
