Description
During a holiday in Bavaria, Captain Thorndike, an expert big-game hunter, wanders onto Hitler’s estate and spots the Führer himself. He considers attempting to shoot him, and is apprehended by Major Quive-Smith, a Gestapo leader assigned to guard the Führer. Thorndike escapes and makes his way to safety as a stowaway on a Danish steamer. When he returns to London, he must go on the run as Gestapo agents comb the streets looking for him.
