Description
While aboard a transatlantic ship, German woman Liza notices someone who looks like Marta, the former inmate at Auschwitz, where Liza used to be the guard. The film was halfway through production in 1961 when its director, Andrzej Munk, was killed in a car accident. Directors Witold Lesiewicz and Andrzej Brzozowsk assembled the film for release, which eventually happened in 1963.
