Bruno is a Communist newspaper journalist suffering a mid-life crisis – his heart torn between his wife Gaëlle and his young girlfriend Nathalie, and his political beliefs battered by the wind of history. After responding to a call for help from his uncle, who is fighting a losing battle for re-election as a small-town Communist Mayor, Bruno gets lost in a dark forest.
