Description
Antonio is a wealthy merchant who agrees to act as guarantor for his friend Bassiano, who is borrowing money from the Jewish moneylender Shylock. But the loan is conditional upon one unusual point: if they are unable to pay back the loan in time, Shylock demands repayment in the form of a pound of Antonio’s flesh.
