Jean-Pierre Lledo accompanies Henri Alleg, one of the heroes of the Algerian War of Independence, as he returns to Algeria for the first time since 1965. Lledo himself has also been living in exile in France since 1993. Their nostalgia and love for Algeria emerges through the relationship they establish with their country and Alleg’s old wartime comrades.
