Wong Fei-hung is a 19th-century doctor, Confucian, and exceptional martial artist. He opens a new clinic in Canton Province, but soon gets in trouble when he begins using his skills to protect and assist the poor and helpless in his community. Wong’s struggle is twofold: against those who resist his charitable work, and against the growing influence of Western culture in China.
